“Technology is an important instrument for driving change,” kata Mohammad Mirdal Akib, CEO Media Group, Jumat, 30/10/2026, emphasizing that integrity, empathy, and collaboration are foundational leadership qualities.
Mirdal argued that leaders need more than just technological mastery; they must also understand people and surrounding needs, and that leadership is about building trust and creating space for innovation rather than merely controlling systems.
He urged graduates not to stop at academic achievements and technology mastery, stating that competence must go hand in hand with character, responsibility, and social concern.
He concluded that success in the digital era is determined not only by the technology used but also by the human factors guiding and leveraging it, and that future leaders must be adaptive to change without losing their humanitarian orientation.
